Freedom Rocks: the Everyday Life of the Berlin Wall (2003 - 2019)
Freedom Rocks is a long-term, collaborative project between artist, Blake Fitzpatrick, and myself. It proposes the possibility of a post-1989 history of the Berlin Wall as it explores issues related to memorialization, historical memory and representation.
The substantial archive that we have created during our research in North America and Berlin, is figured and reconfigured according to the context of the space or media in which our work is to be presented.
